||PROFILE OF A MARTIAL ARTS MASTER
To my best friend Mark S. Marrufo for being there for me always, giving me strength, and lifting my spirits when it seemed that the world was coming down on me. If not for you, I most likely would never have joined the Marine Corps and therefore would never have walked into a martial arts school. Because of you, I continually look for ways to "Take Care of Business (TCB)." May you forever enjoy a world full of Elvis, guns, gravy, and Tabasco.
To Hanshi Lou Angel, for believing in me and allowing me to earn rank and title in martial arts by allowing me to prosper with my abilities without all of the politics that many times comes in the martial arts. You are a good man for others to follow. Thank you for your constant guidance and support.
To Shihan Shawn Steiner, my vice president, for always being there for me and for being an outstanding person and martial artist. As your first martial arts teacher, I take great pride in your accomplishments.
To Michael Head, thank you for your trust in me to teach your family in the martial arts. I hope that when your school opens, it will be as rewarding for you as it was for me teaching you. I value your support and your enthusiasm for passing the knowledge of kempo karate on to others. You are a good, honest man and I look forward to my future trips down to Salisbury, Missouri.
To Daniel Todd for being a good student and putting forth great effort in your martial arts studies.
To Russ Dunham, my student and webmaster, for doing such an outstanding job and making personal sacrifices to get things done in a timely manner. Your passion for excellence is evident in everything you do.
To all my students, past and present, because your trust and dedication has helped me to be a better teacher.
